Good Questions

Everything First-Timers Ask Us

And a few things regulars still wonder about.

What should I wear?

Whatever you arrived in. For massage, you’ll undress to your comfort level under warm linen — draping is meticulous. For Breath & Stretch, soft clothes you can move in are perfect.

When should I arrive?

Fifteen minutes early. That’s tea time — it’s when your therapist asks how you’re actually doing, and it’s built into your booking, not carved out of your session.

What is the “quiet fifteen”?

Fifteen minutes after every session with tea, warm towels, and no one hurrying you toward the door. It’s included in every booking. Guests tell us it’s when the treatment actually lands.

I’m pregnant. Can I book?

Yes — our Prenatal Calm session is designed exactly for this, with side-lying positioning and therapists certified in prenatal work. Second and third trimester welcome; first trimester, check with your doctor first.

Do you take walk-ins?

When the calendar allows, happily — but the calendar is deliberately unhurried, so booking ahead is the safer bet. Same-week openings are most common Tuesday through Thursday.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Life happens. Give us 24 hours and there’s no charge at all. Inside 24 hours we ask for half the session fee, which we’ll happily apply to a rebooking instead.

Are the products really unscented?

By default, yes — organic and fragrance-free. If you’d like botanicals, lavender, or eucalyptus in the room, just say so when you book. It’s your hour.

Do you sell gift cards?

At the desk and by phone. The Half-Day ritual is the most-gifted item on the menu, usually with a note that says some version of “you need this.”
