Baked at Dawn
Gone by Noon
Small-batch sourdough, hand-laminated croissants, and espresso worth crossing town for — baked fresh every morning in the heart of the neighborhood.
Made by Hand, Every Morning
Flour, water, salt, and an unreasonable amount of patience.
Country Sourdough
48-hour cold ferment, blistered crust, tender crumb. Our flagship loaf since day one.
$9 / loafButter Croissant
Hand-laminated over three days. Shatters exactly the way a croissant should.
$4.50House Espresso
Single-origin beans roasted two miles away, pulled on a machine older than the shop.
$3.75A Neighborhood Habit, Five Years Running
The Gilded Crumb started as a weekend farmers-market stall with one folding table and forty loaves. The loaves sold out in an hour —
and kept selling out for a year.
Today we bake from a sunlit corner shop with our own mill, an espresso bar, and a line out the door on Saturdays. Everything is still made by hand, still small-batch, and still gone by noon.
The Neighbors Have Spoken
The sourdough ruined every other bread for me. I’ve made peace with it.
I schedule my Saturday around the 8am croissant tray. Zero regrets.
They made our wedding cake and half our guests asked for the baker’s number.
